HTML5 video tagging UI inspired by LongoMatch and ovscout2, with a structured event model and clip export backend.

How a coach can use it

  • Build teaching playlists from selected events.
  • Link a tagged event to player, line, game state and court location.
  • Export short clips for feedback or academy content.

Camera setup

  • A fixed elevated wide view is best for tactical analysis.
  • End-court or high sideline positions should keep all five field players and both goals visible as often as possible.

Implementation path

Start with a small browser prototype, keep the data model explicit, then connect the analysis backend as separate API services. Validate results with coaches before automating scoring.
